Abhay has lead Strategy and Business Development for some of the biggest technology giants over the last couple of decades. With a natural flair for Sales & Marketing coupled with an innate ability to spot insights, he is your ultimate go-to person for all things strategy. Don’t be fooled by his quiet demeanour though, start talking about music and you’ll be baffled with how much he knows about the classics!

Skyfawl, as he’s known within the team, is a quiet guy with a mind that’s on overdrive most of the time. It’s what feeds his ability to code like a genius, often solving the most complex problems once he’s in the right zone!

Mr. Good Guy, he’s the one who makes sure all that code looks absolutely amazing once it’s on the screen. Our dependable frontend engineer is a stickler for deadlines and will make sure things get done on time, no matter the pressure! He does go missing on weekends though and is most likely to be found attending house parties.

Our Editor-in-chief or ‘Cake Lady’ as we like to call her, Cheryl is an avid reader and writer. While not writing insightful, crisp blog posts or curating content from around the web, you’ll find her baking awesome cakes for the team. Also a kickboxer and runner, her idea of unwinding involves going for long runs with an updated playlist filled with the latest in alternative-indie rock to trippy post-rock numbers for company!

The youngest Epictionite, Batman (as he’s fondly called within the team) wears more hats than his curly mop allows him to! There isn’t a trick in the book that he isn’t capable of cracking once he’s put his mind to it. Utterly reliable, always ready with a calm smile and a solution despite the craziest pressure levels, if you’ve got a tech problem that needs solving- look no further, Batman’s got your back.

He might look young enough to pass off as an intern, but Kousik Da is a seasoned programmer with almost ten years of hardcore software development work under his belt. He’s a quiet guy who prefers to let his work do the talking. But get him started on the topic of Bengali cuisine and cinema, and his true Bengali talkativeness comes right out!

Mr. Cool, Mridul is a true-blue business guy. With over 15 years’ experience managing operations across geographies, he is your quintessential Sales wizard. An absolute customer champion at heart, he’s the first one among us to break down each enhancement to unearth how it would benefit the end customer. There isn’t a target too aggressive or an ask too big when it comes to him and once he’s taken over the reigns, you can be sure that the task will get done. True to his ilk, he’s a funny guy with a penchant for slapstick quips to almost anything thrown at him.

From Marketing to Sales to writing to terrorizing interns, ‘Parthacus’ (as his Slack handle declares) does it all with élan. A fan of Daenerys Targaryen, he’s no less than a dragon himself. Always multi-tasking, you’ll find him listening to downtempo chill or bobbing his head to theme songs from Assassin’s Creed, A Beautiful Mind and Fargo while working on a gazillion things that only he seems to have any idea about. While not at work, you will find him speed-biking or playing with his two huge Rottweilers.

It’s tough to single out one thing that Pradeep does, because he literally does it all! With a cumulative experience that almost spans two decades (he doesn’t look it, but it’s true), he has worked in and lead breakthrough projects for many technology companies. He is an adrenalin junkie and has more than a fair share of ‘adventurous escapades’ to his credit! He might look zen-like when he’s at work, but once he’s behind the wheel of his rugged four wheeler- all the daredevilry comes right out!

A true dendrophile (look it up) at heart, Praveen draws inspiration from nature in every facet of his life. It’s reflected in his simple but results-driven approach towards problem-solving. Over the last 18 years, he’s done it all - architecting large scale systems involving petabytes of data to founding the analytics product line for a billion dollar company. He looks at every new challenge with the same excitement and veracity he would have towards running a triathlon (something he does quite often). When he’s not charging his left brain with a heady dose of Beethoven's symphonies, you’re likely to find him planning his next adventure to the wild outback!

Over the course of his career, there is hardly any problem that’s gone past Samba without being solved to the optimum. With over a decade of experience in Scalability & Distributed Systems design, he is the compulsive problem solver. There isn’t a language too tough for him to master or a code too complex for him to crack. When he isn’t weaving magic on his code, you’re likely to find him discussing history or Hampi (most likely, both) over a cup of coffee!

Calm and focussed under pressure, Sanjay is ‘The Rock’ of our team. He quietly works behind the scenes to ensure that everything and everyone is working smoothly and there are no glitches. His ability to handle the toughest challenges comes from over two decades of solid experience spent building and managing products & people in various technology companies across geographies. But don’t be perturbed by his serious disposition, his quick-witted poetry is best accompanied with a glass of chilled beer!

Vinod a.k.a ‘Don’ is the smooth-talking, multitasking, ever-smiling designer who’s always at the forefront of all the action. He’s always in the know about the latest gizmos and ‘cool apps’ that are ruling the tech world and he makes sure we’re well updated about them too! With an eye for tasteful design in everything from the product to every small element of the company, he’s just as irreplaceable as his design is flawless!
